Health Tip: Dealing With a Disrespectful Child
Medical news

While occasionally acting out can be a normal part of growing up, frequent disobedience on the part of a child is a problem.

The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents evaluate:

The level of respect that family members show toward each other, toward personal values, privacy and ideas.

The way in which family conflicts are resolved, whether via arguments and violent behavior, or healthy discussion.
How do you relate to your child? How do you discipline? Do you frequently yell and spank?
The differences between you and your child and your personalities.
Any difficulties your child has forming relationships or in school performance.
Stressful situations at home.
